We welcome you to be our guest and spend your holidays in one of the more quiet and unspoiled parts of the coast of Turkey. The charming town of Kalkan Turkey is characterized by it's traditional houses and clean and inviting sea found at the foot of the little village. Ancient Lycian sites are well worth a visit, scattered in an abundance of strong natural mountains settings, through wich passes the Lycian Way, as well as the most Turquaz seas that surround the area.

Türk Evi is a small guest house that lies just on the edge of the old town of Kalkan. This means a 5 minute walk down to the harbour. It takes a little longer to walk back up the hill, but you can meander up through the little streets between cafes, boutiques and restaurants.

The old Turkish village house was restored and an extention built to accommodate travellers since 1988. The 9 rooms have different characters and can be chosen according to taste or need. Local and traditional textiles and objects are features of this house.

The rooftop terrace can be used at all times to chillout or to enjoy refreshments or drinks. We serve a Turkish breakfast with local produce and homemade jams.

Kalkan is close to some of the most beautifull beaches and ruins as well as being a favourite for boat trips, or diving and the Lycian Way, which is another spectacular attraction for trekkers. Guide books and tips or information are always available and shared in several languges.
