Welcome to Turk Evi; a cosy guest house run by Selma, in the heart of the old Turkish fishing town, Kalkan.
Situated a 5-minute stroll from the sea, restaurants and bars, this quaint house is in the perfect location to enjoy a traditional Turkish holiday.
Our hotel is characteristic of the region with its pleasant, white-wash facade and with rooms that utilise classic textiles.
Our roof top terrace has breath-taking views overlooking the bay. Here, you can watch the sunrise whilst enjoying a freshly prepared breakfast, or the sunset during your evening meal.
We use fresh and local produce to create a variety of delicious dishes, from Turkish meze, to Italian pizza.

Our family guest house was established by Onder in 1988 when the extension to our original Turkish village home was built.
The hotel has continued to welcome guests by his wife, Selma, who embraces those who stay with open arms.
Kalkan is a town on the Turkish Mediterranean coast which is home to historical sites and beautiful beaches such as those of Patara and Kaputas. Until the early 1920s, all its inhabitants were Greek, however, they left in 1923 due to the exchange of populations between Greece and Turkey after the Greco-Turkish War.

After this time, the town became an important harbour until the 1970s as the only seaport for the locals.
Since this time, the area has flourished as a popular tourist destination for those seeking a romantic, friendly, and exciting area to relax and explore.
Feel free to ask any questions about the hotel and area, or for recommendations for where to eat and visit.

We hope you have an enjoyable stay here, at Turk Evi.
